19 of the Russian's 21 titles have been achieved on hard surfaces
A comeback the Russian player secured his initial trophy for over two years with a win over Corentin Moutet in the competition championship match.
Medvedev, a ex- number one, has experienced a difficult year, achieving just one win at the major tournaments and undergoing a difficult moment at the US Open.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his serving in particular - caused him dropping out of the top ten and eventually splitting with former coach his previous coach.
Currently training with his coach and Rohan Goetzke, he has steadily progressed in the last few weeks - climaxing in a hard-fought competitive triumph over challenger Moutet.
It is Medvedev's first championship following the Italian tournament and first on a hardcourt from March of 2023.
The win also means the Russian has won twenty-one titles at 21 different competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a tournament with my both daughters simultaneously, so to secure a championship is particularly special," said tennis professional the champion.
"This championship is in dedication of my child her name, because the first title I achieved when my first daughter my daughter was born was for her."
The tennis star, the past champion, had lost his last six finals, featuring in Halle earlier this year.
The player's counter-punching play style and recurring emotional displays on the tennis court had caused some to wonder if his skill to perform at the elite level was concluded.
Yet the athlete has implemented adjustments in the last few weeks, attempting to come to the net and compete aggressively, backed up by an enhanced serve.
Medvedev fought back from a break down in the opening set against the tricky Moutet, winning four of the last five points to gain the advantage.
The competitors exchanged breaks in the middle set before the challenger, bidding for his maiden ATP Tour championship, took control to create a third set.
He rescued 4 early-game chances in a close deciding set before the Russian broke to that score to serve for the match.
Fittingly, he clinched the title with a point at the net area, with Moutet incapable to manage a volley after a lengthy match.
